With the introduction of E10 fuel, we’ve had a lot of questions regarding it’s use in garden machinery. Take the following steps to minimise your chances of problems.

1. Continue to use E5/Super Unleaded where possible
2. Only buy enough fuel to last 30 days
3. Use fuel stabiliser additive all year round (Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit)
4. Don’t leave fuel in machines when stood for a longer period of time
5. Drain and run until carburettor is empty before storing machine over winter
6. Consider using Aspen Alkylate fuel
